Moscow Air show MAKS-2011 is over. This was 10th in a row the anniversary Air show and "Augur" Aeronautical Centre is celebrating this year its 20th anniversary as well. As in all previous Air shows, "Augur," demonstrating their achievements of the last two years and informed the visitors about the long-term projects and new contracts.

 
 
 
  
 
  

Founded in 1991 by a group of enthusiasts Aeronautical Centre was a participant of all Moscow international Air Show, since MosAeroShow in 1992. Within the last Air show was the traditional "Augur" press-conference in which Honorary President of the Airshow, the Hero of Russia Magomed Tolboev noted that in his eyes, company, which began with the production of small balloons, over these 20 years has become a recognized leader in Russian aeronautic industry, creating the most advanced aerostatic systems and state of the art airships. Milestones of the company's life were noted in the speech of the President of "Augur" Gennady Verba: first Russian airships and new generation tethered aerostats (1995-1999 years), the first IAC and EASA certified passenger balloon "AeroLift" (2001), the first IAC certified airship Au-12 (2003), the largest Russian tethered aerostat "Puma" (2005), Russia's largest airship Au-30, which established a number of world records (2006) - all of them been exhibited at MAKS.Great interest to the "Augur" products been expressed by representatives of Russian and foreign customers. A series of negotiations about further cooperation been conducted with the largest gas and oil companies are extremely interested in transportation technology based on ATLANT aircrafts. Within the Air show a number of important decisions on further cooperation with the private and governmental enterprises of several countries, in particular - India, Brazil and China, which invest substantial funds to increase their “aeronautical potential” had been accepted. At the press conference and exposition the significant attention was paid to a perspective development: a new generation of tethered aerostats, unmanned reconnaissance platforms and of course to the transport aircraft ATLANT, which aims to change all the logistics of Siberia, Far North and Far East regions. Also MAKS-2011 become commercially successful for the “Augur" company. With the participation of "Rosoboronexport" had been reached a framework agreement with the Malaysian company Haps Tech for co-creation in this country a comprehensive communication network based on tethered aerostatic systems. The first element of the network based on the tethered aerostat "Lynx M" must be demonstrated in Malaysia before the end of this year and next year provides for the establishment of several complexes on the basis of the aerostats "Gepard" and "Tiger."
